Indiana artist A.K. Fielding to display patriotic works at Rensselaer Library in July.

Academically trained in research and writing as a historian, A. K. Fielding is also a self-taught portrait painter, illustrator, and mixed-media artist.

She has forged together her love of writing, early American history and art to produce works that will hopefully encourage others to study America's past.

Her art has appeared in various exhibitions throughout the state of Indiana including, Pike Performing Arts Center, Garfield Arts Park Center, the Monon Depot Gallery, Indiana University and Purdue University, Nickel Plate Arts, Delphi Opera House, Fishers Art Council, Harrison Center for the Arts, The Grant Fredericks Gallery, The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette and former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard’s (2007-2015) office.

Her works are on display at the Rensselaer Library through the month of July.
