Back Home Again in Rensselaer

This year, the City of Rensselaer is competing with several other communities in Indiana for a chance to be chosen by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's 2012 "Back Home Again in Indiana" Community Outreach Program to receive a $20,000 grant.

100 years ago

It was just four days ago (give or take a century) that the RMS Titanic set sail from Ireland, headed for the White Star docks at New York City.

Of course, we know the Titanic never completed its maiden voyage across the Atlantic. It was 100 years ago this morning (April 15) that the ship met its tragic fate and became one of the most famous sea voyages in history.
