Life moves pretty fast

We are pretty excited about the developments at DeMotte this year that will include a new parking lot and story walk social area, and will be capturing the entire project in time-lapse video as the year goes by.

Parking Lot Project underway at DeMotte

Work is now underway on the DeMotte Library Parking Lot Project, a project that has been eagerly anticipated and meets two of Jasper County Public Library’s long-range plan goals, to be a welcoming community hub and to engage our staff and community in lifelong learning.

Introducing Indiana Digital Library - your path to eBooks

Jasper County Public Library is expanding our digital collection in 2022 by joining the new statewide e-book consortium, the Indiana Digital Library, launching on March 1.

Nearly 200 public libraries in the state will all share the new platform on OverDrive to create a vast statewide collection of e-books and magazines for Hoosiers.
