This full-text database provides a broad spectrum of research information on thousands of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes.

Literary Reference Center Plus contains more than 36,000 plot summaries, plus thousands of book reviews, synopses and work overviews, literary criticism essays, and author biographies and interviews.

Sources include reference books, Critical insights volumes, and more than 750 literary journals — including AGNI, Black Warrior Review, Five Points, Paris Review, River Teeth, Subtropics and Witness — featuring thousands of essays, fiction and poetry.

Also browse more than 130,000 classic and contemporary poems, nearly 32,000 classic and contemporary short stories and more than 7,000 classic novels.

Search the database by keyword, author or title or browse content alphabetically by most-studied authors, most-studied works and full-text classics. Use the included research guides and citation help, use text-to-speech functions and Lexile® measures) to help with comprehension.

A Curriculum Standards Module is included for educators as well.
