Navigating the Medicare thoroughfare can be confusing.

If you are on Medicare and have questions, or approaching Medicare age (65), or if you have disability Medicare benefits, “Medicare 101” is a great place to start in addressing your concerns.

The Rensselaer Library invites all interested adults to attend this free workshop, presented by Clifford Havens of DeMotte, on Tuesday, October 24.

Two, stand alone sessions will be offered: Times to choose from to attend are 10:30-11:30 am OR 6-7 pm.

Some topics that will be covered include qualifying for lower Part B premiums, extra help in affording prescriptions with Medicare Part D, special enrollment periods, and why some may qualify for enrollment all year long, choosing supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, and More!

Registration is required, and is available online or by visiting or calling the Rensselaer Library at 208 W Susan St., Rensselaer, 219 866-5881.
