Jim Gill Musical Performance

All ages are invited to enjoy the whimsical, witty and FUN musical performance of musician and author, Jim Gill at the DeMotte Library as he spreads his special brand of joy with sing-along songs and original musical games on Saturday, November 18 @ 10:30 am.

This free program is sponsored by all three branches of the Jasper County Public Library, located in Rensselaer, DeMotte & Wheatfield, and will include musical renditions of songs that celebrate families that laugh, play, dance, SNEEZE and sing together, and that will appeal to everyone, from grandparents to parents to children of all ages.

Jim Gill is a trained child development specialist with a graduate degree from the Erikson Institute of Chicago, and has directed weekly programs in music play for families of children with special needs. He has presented concerts of music and play throughout the country in theaters, libraries and schools, and also offers speaking engagements to librarians, teachers and early childhood educators about the many benefits of play in the lives of young children.
