Ages preschool through 12th grade won’t want to miss the fun at the Rensselaer Library, where this year’s Summer Reading program theme is “Build a Better World.” Sign-ups for Build a Better World begin May 30.

Fun programs will be held each Wednesday at 10 am for ages preschool through grade 5, and reading books throughout the program will earn them the chance to win prizes.

The kickoff for Build a Better World will be held on Tuesday, June 6 @ 5 pm, and includes a visit from ‘The Serious O’Sillies: Juggling to Enrich.’ If you haven’t had the chance to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading Program, this is a great chance to do so!

Programs will continue on Wednesday, June 7 from 3-4 pm with an Ice Cream Social, Wednesday, June 14 @ 10 with a visit from Indiana Wild, Wednesday, June 21 @ 10 am with a Magic Show, and on Wednesday, June 28 @ 10 am with Building Block Program with Alice Smith.

Registration is required to attend, and is available online or by visiting or calling the Rensselaer Library, 208 W Susan St., Rensselaer, 219 866-5881.
