Wheatfield Summer Reading

Drawing of kids building a city out of recycled materials.

Kids who like to read and enjoy the summer fun of attending library programs will want to join us at the Wheatfield Library, where this year’s summer reading theme is “Build a Better World.”

Open to children who have completed Kindergarten through grade 4, registration will be held beginning May 31, and will be available by visiting the Wheatfield Library.

Reading packets containing the reading elements to participate in the program are available at the library, and fun, entertaining weekly programs will be held each Tuesday at 10 am beginning June 6.

Completing the required 60 minutes of reading earns children prizes and makes them eligible to win the grand prize drawing, and reading more than the required 60 minutes makes participants eligible for more entries toward the grand prize drawing, so the more you read, the better your chances of winning at the end of the program!

Summer Reading is a great way to keep kids of all ages reading during the summer months, as well as entertain them with fun, age appropriate programs.

Registration is required to attend all Summer Reading Programs @ Wheatfield Library. For more information, visit or call the Wheatfield Library, 350 S Bierma St., Wheatfield, 219 956-3774.
