Open to teens in grades 6-12, discussions planned for the 3rd or 4th Thursday every month, depending on how many weeks are in the month. Come and discuss books with fellow readers and discover other ways to connect to books you love, including food from books and activities pulled from the books you read.
Join us on the last Wednesday of the month at the Rensselaer Library for Anime Club. We will be discussing anime films and series and watching various anime. Open to teens and adults. Bring a friend and come join the fun.
Through OverDrive, you can check out popular eBook and eAudiobook titles with your library card and enjoy them for a two week lending period. This program is held at 5:30 p.m. -- usually on the second Tuesday every month. (In October it will be shown on the second Wednesday because of the Fall Festival). A variety of movies, newly released to DVD, are shown. Popcorn and beverages are served. This program is open to teens through adults.
Home-schooled students in the area are invited for a variety of learning activites, games and stories. Learn something new and interesting in a fun way. This program will be held the third Tuesday of the month from 10-11 am. Program meets February through May and September through November.
Special programs are scheduled for teens every month at the Rensselaer Library during the school year. This program is free and open to all interested teens. All materials will be provided. Space is limited.
