Capture your shadow

The groundhog isn't the only one casting a shadow in February, and with all the nice weather we keep having, this may be a good time to play around with your shadow a bit.

What you'll need is a place to draw with chalk, like a driveway, or a park sidewalk, some chalk, a friend, and a good sunny day.

Indiana plants and history

If you are looking for native Indiana plants, or Indiana history, there are two new resources you can check out online.

The Digital Archives enables Hoosiers and researchers worldwide to view the vast collection of historical and vital records housed at the State Archives.

Check it Out! More books to movies!

Tax Forms Starting To Arrive

The first tax forms and booklets are starting to arrive at the library, and more shipments are expected in the coming days.

As in previous years, we may not have the form you need, and we cannot advise you as to which form you need, but if you know the form number, we can print it for you from the Internet at 10 cents per page.

A time to remember

If you missed seeing the movie based on Kathryn Stockett's The Help earlier this month at DeMotte, there is another showing Tuesday Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m.at the Rensselaer Library and Thursday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Wheatfield Library.

Last Weekend for Seuss Exhibit

If you wanted to take a trip this weekend, there are worst places than Chicago, where it's the last weekend for the Dr. Seuss & The Art of Invention exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.
